HOW IT WORKSLa Lecturia is designed to be lived, not just read. Here's how a cycle works, from the moment you join to the night we close the story.
01Join the CycleEvery few months, a new cycle opens around a carefully chosen book. Purchase your kit for the current cycle or if you're in Los Angeles, reserve your spot to pick it up in person. Once the order deadline passes, the cycle closes.
One cycle. One world. No subscription required.
02After joining, you'll fill out a short member form and take an 8-question quiz. We won't tell you what it means, that's part of the surprise. What we can tell you is that your answers shape what goes inside your kit.
Your answers travel with your kit. The reveal is waiting inside.

03Receive Your Kit
Your kit arrives before the cycle begins. Inside: an annotated reading guide, a character bookmark made for you, discussion prompts, activities, recipes, a playlist, film pairings, and keepsakes inspired by the world of the book.
Open it slowly. It was assembled with you in mind.
04ReadFollow the suggested reading schedule or move at your own pace. The kit gives you a rhythm to follow if you want it, and the freedom to wander if you don't.
All that matters is that you read.
05Experience the Pairings
Watch the films. Cook the recipes. Listen to the playlist while you read. Every pairing was chosen to echo the themes, mood, and world of the book, so the story follows you into your everyday life.
The story doesn't end when you put the book down.
06GatherEvery cycle includes events for those who want to go deeper. For Los Angeles members, we meet in person, to read together, discuss, and celebrate the end of the cycle together.
Reading alone is beautiful. Reading together is something else entirely.
